Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for providing financial support and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation for stations within the Hubs Business Office. Key responsibilities include supporting monthly financial Close reports, assisting with financial projection analysis. The position also involves performing accounting reconciliations, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and ensuring invoice accuracy. Additionally, the role supports financial control activities at the station by conducting audits, ensuring compliance withcompany regulations and standards, and assisting with resolving action plans. The role also supports stations with essential ad-hoc assignments as needed, contributing to operational efficiency and risk mitigation across the stations.
  • Supporting stations with financial control standards and regulations, ensuring regulatory compliance is met at the station. Conducts assessments and audits to measure station financial control compliance with company policies and procedures across AO Business Office. Financial controls related audit review, documentation and support
  • Month end accounting close and finance functions including financial analyses/reporting, journal entry, budget/variance analysis
  • Ongoing invoice/billing audit, reconciliation, timely payment. Report out of cost savings through audits
  • Hub business office related processes such as passenger compensation auditing, bag fee waiver auditing
  • Assist with special projects, ad-hoc finance, accounting, financial controls audit related projects
NOTE: This position is based at the ASC (Arlington Service Center) in Arlington Heights, IL and considered as a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • +1 year of work experience which may include completion of at least one internship in a finance-related field or work experience in an analytical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office primarily Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to analyze and report out on data
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to maintain composure in high volume/high pressure situations
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
  • Must be willing and able to travel at least 50%
  • Must be willing and able to work a hybrid work schedule

  • Must be willing and able to work at the Arlington Heights facility in Arlington Heights, IL.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field of study; or 2 years of relevant work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Airport Operations
  • Hyperion Planning, Oracle Financials experience
The base pay range for this role is $52,725.00 to $71,830.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
