Salary 100,000 - 140,000 USD per year

Requirements:

- - I require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- I will consider candidates with 5+ years of ISSE experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- I expect 7+ years of related experience.
- Candidates should have 4+ years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- I require a Security+ certification within 6 months of hire.
- A TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

- - I will need you to provide IA security requirements to update system requirement documents.
- You will coordinate IA matters with other directorates and external partners as necessary.
- It will be your responsibility to perform, or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability and non-compliance, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- You will validate and verify system security requirements, analysis, and establish system security designs.
- You will ensure that proposed software, hardware, firmware, and infrastructure comply with security guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- I expect you to apply your knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
- You will work with toolkits, SEIMs, LogRhythm, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, and mandatory/role-based access control concepts (like SE Linux extensions to RHEL, Oracle/MS SQL database security, and Apache/IIS Web server security).
- Supporting security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management will be part of your role.
- I will need you to identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data.
- You will contribute to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness activities for system and networking operations.
