Job Description

Join our team at the Pax Vero Beach Inn & Suites Hotel in Vero Beach, FL, as a Houseperson! This essential role is key to maintaining the beauty and comfort of our hotel, ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of outside grounds and the hotel’s exterior, including occasional pressure washing.
• Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using vacuums and shampoo machines.
• Clean rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Wash walls and ceilings.
• Collect soiled linens and manage housekeeping carts.
• Restock clean linens in pantry areas on each floor.
• Deliver requested items (towels, cribs, cots, etc.) to guest rooms.
• Report any lost/found items or damage to hotel property to supervisors.
• Set up the banquet hall for events of up to 200 people, ensuring all seating, tables, and equipment are arranged as per event specifications.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or a 1-year Hotel Management diploma preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Previous housekeeping or banquet setup experience is a plus.
• Availability for late afternoons, nights, and weekends.
