Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Read and interpret plans
-Dependable, punctual
-Determine the type and amount of material required for the job
-Transport necessary materials required for the project
-Follow Instructions from supervisors
-Construction of wooden structures, such as concrete forms, frameworks, scaffolds, etc.
-Install windows, door frames, walls, roof and stairs.
-Install and finish drywall
-Pour concrete
-Paint skills
-Inspecting the integrity of structures upon their installation
-Repair wood structures
-Perform trim and finishing work
-Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.
-Knowledge of other trades is highly desirable
-Monitoring inventory and replenishing supplies as needed.
-Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment ( all required PPE)
-Ensure all equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
-Finish carpentry
-Punch Work/corrections
PREFERRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
-High School Diploma
-Completion of Carpentry apprentice program.
-Ability to follow directions
-OSHA Certified

Essential Functions

-Provide guidance and supervision for apprentice carpenters and laborers

-At least 5 years of journeyman experience
-Valid Driver's license
-Good Math and problem-solving skills
-Repair wooden structures

-Install windows, door frames, walls, roof and stairs.
-Finish Carpentry
-Using heavy equipment
-Conduct inventory for the company warehouse - Tools, equipment, hardware
-Assisting in all day-to-day operations, including delivering plans and other documents to other businesses
