Location: Cleveland, OH

Salary: $95,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the maintenance department's activities, ensuring the building and property meet Federal and State safety ordinances. You will track assignments, manage budgets, and focus on quality and deadlines.

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the activities of Maintenance Workers.
• Oversee staff performance, including hiring, coaching, training, counseling, and disciplining employees, as well as planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, plans, and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet quality and safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare departmental budgets and schedule maintenance purchases, remodeling, and special projects.
• Direct inspections and repairs of equipment, electrical, plumbing, masonry, painting, and carpentry work.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Manage maintenance inventory, including parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure outside services are completed per statements of work.
• Conduct annual facility assessments to identify safety issues or repair needs.
• Inspect completed work for adherence to blueprints and specifications.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare communications as needed.
• Interact professionally with staff, vendors, and the public.
• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed.
• Report food safety, quality, or food defense concerns to the QA Manager.
• Ensure compliance with all Safety, GMPs, health code regulations, and Food Safety Policies.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or maintenance management, with a minimum of seven years of maintenance work experience, including lock-out/tag-out safety procedures.
• Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance management, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Millwright certification.
• Technical training with related equipment.
• Exposure to high-speed equipment.
• Engineering background.
