Marketing Manager

Location: Remote (9 AM - 5 PM EST, Monday - Friday)

Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, and managing external agency relationships. This role bridges the gap between technical sales knowledge and broader market messaging, optimizing marketing strategies for a highly specialized audience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and life sciences. This position is a manager of processes, relationships, and projects and has no direct reports at this time.Additionally, the Marketing Manager will be instrumental in managing marketing automation, CRM (Pipedrive), and advertising spend tracking, while supporting data-driven decision-making to improve campaign ROI.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Serve as the primary liaison with external marketing agencies, ensuring deliverables align with company objectives and industry regulations.
  • Develop and oversee corporate communications, email campaigns, and branding efforts to maintain a strong market presence.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to create targeted B2B marketing campaigns tailored for a highly technical and niche pharmaceutical audience.
  • Manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, digital, and content marketing strategies.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to demonstrate marketing ROI and optimize campaign effectiveness.

Marketing Automation, CRM & Ad Spend Management

  • Support CRM management and potential transition (Current platform: Pipedrive).
  • Oversee marketing automation tools (Go High Level, ActiveCampaign) to streamline outreach and engagement.
  • Ensure seamless integration of advertising spend data into marketing systems, providing insights for budget allocation and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align marketing efforts with business goals and regulatory considerations in pharmaceutical marketing.

Partner & Agency Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with marketing partners and external agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and high-quality execution.
  • Proactively manage campaign budgets, timelines, and priorities, maximizing the value of partnerships.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials and messaging comply with industry regulations for pharmaceutical and life sciences marketing.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Analyze marketing performance data, generating insights to refine strategies and enhance lead generation.
  • Utilize advertising spend analysis and CRM data to guide decision-making and optimize campaigns.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and external partners.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Go High Level, ActiveCampaign) and CRM systems (Pipedrive or similar).
  • Experience working in a remote, fast-paced environment while coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent English communication skills; ability to translate technical product information into compelling marketing messaging.
  • Familiarity with advertising spend analysis, marketing performance metrics, and ROI-driven strategies.
  • Basic understanding of regulated product marketing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B marketing within a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and automation for lead nurturing and conversion.
  • Exposure to SEO, PPC, and content marketing strategies to support inbound marketing efforts.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics and regulatory considerations.
