Job Description

Established multi-disciplined consulting firm is adding a talented Municipal Project Manager to their Milwaukee team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with business development/marketing activities (write/review proposals, attend meetings/interviews/conferences)
  
• Execute contracts for services for public and private clients
  
• Assist with negotiations for scope of work (specific goals, deliverables, and exclusions), project budget/project fee, and project schedule
  
• Organize a knowledgeable internal project team with the expertise to accomplish the work
  
• Lead team in development of project plans, specifications, and bid documents
  
• Regular communication with project team and client
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Provide technical guidance to team
  
• Monitor project progress (production of project deliverables, expenses, and budget)
  
• Provide project updates to clients
  
• Ensure QA/QC measures are completed
  
• Prepare project summaries to assist with future business opportunities
  
• Administrative duties related to construction of municipal projects
  
• Build/maintain client relationships
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  
• 5+ years of experience working with municipal clients
  
• PE License (MN preferred or ability to obtain in MN)
  
• Experience managing multiple clients/projects
  
• Extensive knowledge of permitting/regulatory requirements in Iowa and/or Illinois
  
• Experience using various funding sources for municipal clients preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
