Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our innovative virtual learning program. This fully remote position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs—all from the comfort of your home.

What You'll DoAs a Special Education Teacher, you will play a key role in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) that ensure every student receives the personalized support they need. You'll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create an engaging and inclusive virtual learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver specialized instruction through virtual platforms tailored to individual student needs

Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs in compliance with federal and state regulations

Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations and modifications that support student success

Track student progress and maintain accurate records and documentation

Conduct virtual meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to discuss student development and strategies

Offer guidance and support to parents/guardians to enhance student learning at home

Stay up-to-date with best practices by participating in professional development opportunities and team meetings

What We're Looking For:

Master's degree in Special Education or a related field

Valid North Carolina teaching license with a Special Education endorsement

At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting

Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and educational technology

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in developing and implementing IEPs

Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with team members
