Position Overview:
Start Date: ASAP for the 2024-2025 school year
Hours: Part-time (16+ hours/week)
Grade Levels: K-12 students
Compensation: Starting at $55/hour (based on experience)
Location: 100% Remote

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities
Develop tailored therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and individual student needs
Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support communication goals in the classroom and other settings
Use evidence-based techniques and activities in therapy sessions to promote speech and language development
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
Accurately document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information in a timely manner
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer professional input on students' speech and language needs
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
Experience providing speech-language therapy in a school or pediatric setting
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapy techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred)
Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technologies (preferred)
