Salary: $45K-$60K/yr. 

Job Summary : Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Manager at Elev8 Fun is responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of the entertainment center's attractions, equipment, and facilities. This role ensures that all technical aspects function smoothly and safely, enhancing the overall guest experience. The Technical Manager will lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

What You’ll Do :

• Oversee the daily technical operations of all attractions, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensure all technical systems and equipment are functioning properly and efficiently.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for technical operations and maintenance.
• Plan and execute regular maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
• Coordinate and perform repairs and troubleshooting for any technical issues that arise.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all technical operations comply with relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities and safety inspections.
• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of technicians and maintenance staff.
• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable and adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to staff, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors to ensure it meets company standards and timelines.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Provide technical support and expertise to other departments as needed.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and attractions.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and best practices in the industry.
• Develop and manage the technical department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Monitor and control expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and technical operations.
• Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to optimize costs without compromising quality.

What You’ll Need :

• Any technical or trade school preferred. 2+ years of electronic, electromechanical or mechanical experience.
• Family Entertainment Center experience recommended.
• Proven supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Familiarity with property management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Physical Demands :

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds.
• Capable of standing, walking, and working in confined spaces throughout shifts.
• Must possess the stamina to remain active and engaged during busy periods, ensuring responsiveness to guest needs.
• Adept at moving throughout the venue, which may involve significant distances between buildings and areas.
• Hearing and visual acuity to observe staff performance and detect emergency situations, responding appropriately.
