Job Description

NOLA Protection Group   a leader in professional security services in the New Orleans and surrounding area is currently accepting applications for the role of a Armed Professional Security Officer.

Armed Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Armed   Security Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site. 

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
  • Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police
  • Own your GUN that meets LSBPSE requirements and re qualify yearly. 
  • Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training and complete firearms training 
  • Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
  • Must have a professional appearance.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have open availability to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or Valid photo ID.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Security, Law Enforcement, or Military Experience Required
